Favourite Authors & Series: Part One
Okay, so a bit of a different blog post today.
I’m sure you’re sick of me only talking about my books, so I thought I’d share with you some of my ultimate go-to authors and series.
I’ll be posting my favourite comfort reads at some point, too.
I suffer from anxiety often, and sometimes all I want is to re-read a book or series I love rather than explore a new world.
Just an FYI. This post contains affiliate links. If you use these links to buy something I may earn a small commission.
Kristen Proby:
I absolutely love Kristen and have done ever since I first read Come Away With Me back in 2013-ish. These four books are the first in four of her series’ and with over fifteen books in one series alone, she has a backlist that will last you days!
Here is a printable list of all of Kristen Proby’s books, sorted into series order. Super useful if you’re new to her work!
Tiffany Reisz:
The Original Sinners series is one of my ultimates.
It follows Nora Sutherlin, an erotica writer, who also happens to be a BDSM dominatrix queen of the underground PLUS she used to be the submissive of a priest?!
Honestly, the characters in this series have my heart. And I know they will yours too.
These are the first four in the series, collectively known as The Red Years.
P.S. These are the UK paperback covers, as they’re my favourite.
A full list of her books can be found here.
Kathleen Brooks:
Back when I worked in a betting shop, I used to read all the time and I had a co-worker who shared not just my name, but my love of books. She introduced me to Bluegrass State of Mind and ever since I’ve been hooked. If you love Southern hospitality, small town, ex-CIA farm owners, then you need to read these!
Here is a printable list of all of Kathleen Brook’s books, sorted into series order. Start with Bluegrass State of Mind and make your way through all of Keeneston’s drama.
K. Webster (& Ker Dukey):
If you love Dark Romance then this author is the one for you.
I LOVE all of her work and I know you will, too.
Here is a printable list of all of K. Webster’s books, sorted into year order. If you want to start off with a ‘lighter’ read then I’d suggest beginning with her earlier books, like Broken, or maybe even something like My Torin.
I’ve linked each image so you can go grab any of these that take your fancy!
These authors and series have really got me through some dark times and I am so thankful for their words and worlds.
Until next time,
