Favourite Book Genres
Before becoming an author, I was an avid reader.
I would constantly have my nose lost in my kindle and would annoy my family and partner to no end. I’ve found it a bit harder since I’ve started writing, but I do try to at least read a book or two a month still.
So the post today is about my favourite genres/tropes with some examples!

Billionaire/Erotica:
In 2012, this was my go-to genre! As it was for many people, I’m sure.
Fifty Shades of Grey really changed the face of the romance genre and I for one will be forever thankful for it.
Historical Fiction:
I’m a huge History fan and my favourite era is the Tudor era, hands down.
Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII are my jam, and I read a lot of books that re-imagine their lives.
Just love it!
Retellings:
Man. I love these. Definitely give these a try!
YA Dystopia/Fantasy:
I don’t read this genre as much as I would like, but every time I do, I’m reminded of just how much I enjoy it!
Reverse Harem:
I’m a sucker for RH books. Nuff said.
