My new step brother

I pulled myself from my thoughts and looked at Gigi, smiling through my inner turmoil. She made a beautiful bride—of course she did. My dad wouldn’t be marrying her if she wasn’t beautiful. He was a typical wealthy dickhead with more money than sense, and he was on his third wife already.

And I hadn’t yet ruled out that he would one day have a fourth.

I can barely remember my mum as she died when I was a baby. He married again not long after, but they divorced a couple of years ago after a lengthy battle for my father’s wealth. A battle he won. Nobody gets the best of Tony Hollowdale.

Then, about six months ago, he bumped into Gigi at a local restaurant and sparks flew. Or some bullshit like that. Every time she told the story, a little bit of sick made its way into my mouth and I had to excuse myself pretty sharpish.

And in no time at all, here we all were at their wedding. Everybody laughing and joking, as if there was nothing wrong with the picture in front of us.

While I was in my own personal hell.

Because the guy I’d had a crush on forever was going to be my new step-brother.

Until next time,
